The Department of Management Sciences of Qarshi University in collaboration with Bizware and EY is organizing a full-day workshop from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm on Saturday, October 23rd at QIED. This will be a full-day activity (10:00 am to 5:00 pm) targeted at 10-12 BBA students in year-4 and year-3 of the program. The two-pronged objective of the workshop is to enhance the managerial competencies and skills of the students and assess any deficiencies that may require remedial work and/or preparation/guidance to make them better prepared for the job market.
EY, formerly Ernst & Young, is a professional services firm that forms one of the ‘Big 4’ audit firms, along with PwC, KPMG, and Deloitte.
The firm exists as a partnership in most countries and has a fairly global presence (offices in over 150 countries). Its origins in the Auditing profession, similar to the other ‘Big 4’, have led to it being referred to as an Auditing firm first, and a consulting firm second (which is quite interesting, as Assurance services have been forming an ever-decreasing share of the revenue for the firm).
