Professor Nadeem Irfan Bukhari, previously associated with the University of Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan, has assumed the role of the inaugural dean at Qarshi University’s newly established Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. During his tenure as dean and principal, at the Punjab University College of Pharmacy (PUCP), he played a pivotal role in enhancing the infrastructure, developing postgraduate programs, and designing the curriculum. Dr. Nadeem is widely recognized for his innovative and creative approach to governance, education, and research. He has served as a full-time and visiting faculty member in various countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, and Malaysia.

With a vast experience of more than three decades in the field of Internal Medicine, he has earned the prestigious fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Akmal has held various esteemed positions throughout his career, such as Head of Department of Medicine at Wapda Teaching Hospital, Director General of Health, and Advisor on Medical Services at Wapda. He has also served as a faculty member at Central Park Medical College and Sharif Medical and Dental College. Dr. Akmal’s expertise lies in the areas of Diabetes, Respiratory, and Gastrointestinal diseases, making them his primary focus and specialization.
