Dr. Shoaib Irshad  hails from Lahore and holds a PhD in Business Administration from Izmir University of Economics, Turkey He is the recipient of the prestigious fully funded HEC Scholarship for overseas studies. He also went to the University of Miskolc, Hungary on Erasmus Mundi Exchange Program Scholarship. He has done his undergrad in commerce from Punjab College on merit scholarship and MBA Banking and Finance from the Hailey College of Banking and Finance, University of the Punjab, Lahore.

He is a passionate researcher with the research interests in Capital Markets, Corporate Governance and Energy Economics. His research work has been published in various international journals. He attended and participated in numerous national and international conferences and symposiums in Hungary, Romania, Germany, Turkey and Pakistan. Twice, he was invited and sponsored to the IAAER conference for emerging scholars in the field of Accounting and Finance held in Bucharest.
