Academic Qualification

Ph.D. (Biological Technology) University of New South Wales, Australia (1979); M.Sc. (Chemistry /Biochemistry),  (Punjab University),(1965); B.Sc. (HONS-Chemistry), (Punjab University), (1964).

Professor Khalid is a seasoned Biotechnologist specializing in Bioprocess Technology, Fossil Fuel Biotechnology, and Biofuel. His recent research focuses on Bio-sorption, Biosensors, Leukemia, and Forensic science. Additionally, he has a keen interest in Enzyme Technology, Protein engineering, Nano-Biotechnology, Drug Delivery, and Synthetic Biology.

With 45 years beyond the Ph.D., Professor Khalid has excelled in Research, University Level teaching, and Education and Science administration on an International Level. He has held prestigious academic positions, including Director at the National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Faisalabad, and Acting Vice Chancellor at GC College University, Faisalabad. Furthermore, he has been actively involved in various capacities within the field of Biotechnology and has contributed significantly to academia and research. In addition, he has been:
