Ph.D. (Biological Technology) University of New South Wales, Australia (1979); M.Sc. (Chemistry /Biochemistry),  (Punjab University),(1965); B.Sc. (HONS-Chemistry), (Punjab University), (1964).

Professor Khalid is professionally an apt  Biotechnologist specialiusing in , Bioprocess Technology, Fossil Fuel Biotechnology, ; Biofuel. My recent research is in the area of  Bio-sorption, Biosensors, Leukemia, Forensic science.  In addition, I am  also interested in Enzyme Technology, Protein engineering, Nano-Biotechnology, Drug Delivery and Synthetic Biology

45 years beyond the Ph.D.:, Research, University Level teaching and Education and Science
