MS Entrepreneurship and Business Development

Introduction:

The Masters of Science program is a journey towards expansion and opportunity, as it helps academicians, managers and business leaders to think beyond the boundaries. It enables students to gain in-depth knowledge of business and to learn the tools and techniques required to excel in rapidly changing world.

The MS Entrepreneurship and Business Development is an extensive 2-year program designed at the intersection of business management fundamentals and entrepreneurship. The program will enable students to develop and enhance a comprehensive understanding of capabilities required to take business initiatives effectively.

Program Objectives:

The program shall enable students to:

• Demonstrate creativity and business spirit to compete in a competitive landscape
• Demonstrate Entrepreneurial skills to address a certain market need.
• Assess market needs, identify a niche and address that niche through a viable business solution.
• Skills such as leadership, decision making and calculated risk taking.
• Demonstrate the effective use of right business tools and techniques to contribute in the globalized digital economy.
• Maneuver the business progression from idea stage to launching stage and effectively deal with the contingencies in between.

Eligibility Criteria

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, earned from a recognized university after a minimum of 16 years of education with at least 60 percent marks or a CGPA of at least 2.5/4.0 or equivalent. The students must have taken two courses in each of the main streams of Accounting, Finance, Marketing and Management.
• A minimum of 50% marks and at least 50 percentile rank in NTS GAT-General, GRE or GMAT.
