Area of Interest: Supply Chain risk management and Agribusiness

Dr. Umair Waqas is an assistant professor in management sciences, Qarshi University, Lahore. Umair’s research areas are knowledge management, business strategy, supply chain strategies, supply chain, supply chain risk management, firm performance and agribusiness supply chain. He has ten years of teaching and research experience. He was part of the team that handled the industrial project with the industry CEOs’ in Malaysia. During his PhD research, Umair was engaged with different Malaysian institute including MOA, MARDI, FAMA and LPP. He has also worked as a business support coordinator at SMEDA for the project of early recovery and rehabilitation funded by UNDP. Umair finished his PhD from the School of Business and Economics, Universiti Putra Malaysia (AACSB), Malaysia. This research was funded by the Ministry of Education Malaysia under the Research University Grants Scheme.
