Eligibility Criteria

Needless to say that we consider applications based only on merit, we ensure students’ onward movement based on their passion to learn and to advance with grace and dignity into the future. Following certificate holders are qualified to get admissions, provided they have obtained at least 2nd Division in their respective certificates:

  • ICS, D.Com,I.Com            
  • A-Level or Equivalent
  • FSc (Pre-Engineering)

FSc (Pre Med) with additional Maths

Accounting and Finance are the wider context in which any business operates and a business concern indulges for profit enhancement. It includes all aspects of an eco-system i.e. social, cultural, legal, political, etc. that might affect profit seeking activities directly or indirectly. Hence, the study of Accounting & Finance as a discipline endows an individual with a critical insight of not only the reasons behind making or dissolution of a commercial entity but also the economic fortunes of nation-states.

Though the history of Accounting and Finance is as ancient as humanity itself, with the advent of industrialization, fast and more efficient means of communication and globalization, Accounting and Finance have attained unprecedented importance and their study at degree level is highly in demand.

Accounting and Finance are vital business tools that require knowledge and understanding of all the functional areas of a business. Accounting and Finance are of critical importance to both public and private sector organizations.

A major in Finance and Accounting (ACF) provides students with a basis from which to continue their studies for a professional degree or serves as a valuable foundation for a business career. Graduates of this major are prepared for careers in Auditing, Corporate Accounting, Management Consulting, Government, non-profit organizations, taxation etc.

BS Accounting and Finance graduates normally carve their careers in financial institutions or finance departments of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and retail companies.

Share of jobs in Accounts and Finance sector for graduates has been growing at a steady pace based on past growth rates and future corporates scenarios.

Through in the beginning (2008-2009), BS Accounting & Finance had the lowest market in the job market, it has been growing steadily and by the end of Year 2015-2016, it is anticipated that its job share will top the market with a significant share of 56%.
