About Program

In this era of globalisation, business activities have expanded manifold and the nature of business has undergone a rapid change. The Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM) offered at Qarshi University is particularly a tailor-made programme, designed to cater the needs of industry and commerce. The program aims at preparing students for the challenges in the global business environment and to provide them with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time building competence in specialized areas of business and commerce. In this programme, one will study foundation areas of accounting, finance, economics, business law, management, marketing and technology. The integrative nature of the programme course and the active participation and interaction between students, academics and the industry ensure that students are equipped to excel as holistic and futuristic thinkers in all areas of today’s exhilarating and demanding new business environment.

Since year 2013, Department of Commerce at Qarshi University is successfully offering Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance (BSAF). The department has always held a distinctive position in educating and grooming its students on the lines prescribed by Qarshi Mission and Vision. The B.Com (Hons.) program fits well to the University Mission, emphasizing on imparting marketable education and learning for producing managers of change in the society based on Islamic ethics and values. Under this program, the department aims to offer a decent number of courses leading to prepare graduates, not only holding necessary industry-related skills but also stand out in displaying and exercising professional practices in absolute accordance with ethics and values preached by our religion Islam. Our efforts to inculcate such traits in our students will lead us to the fulfilment of Qarshi University Visions, focused on acquiring distinctive leadership in quality education, human resource development, and corporate social responsibility.
